Dictation software has been technically good for years and practically annoying for just as long, because a transcript is not a message. Wispr Flow's contribution is the editing pass: it punctuates, breaks paragraphs, drops the ums and false starts, and adjusts tone to the app you are typing into, so what lands in Slack reads like something you wrote rather than something you said. Being system-wide is the other half — a dictation tool you have to open is a dictation tool you stop using.

The multilingual handling deserves specific credit. Over 100 languages with automatic detection and genuine mid-sentence code-switching is unusual, and for bilingual users it is the feature that makes the product stick. The personal dictionary matters more than it sounds too: give it your colleagues' names and your product vocabulary in the first week and accuracy jumps.

The review split is stark and buyers should look at it directly.
